Google Analytics 4 (GA4) Transitions
Google announced that Universal Analytics (UA) will no longer be supported July 2023. Google Analytics 4 (GA4) will replace the latter as the new, enhanced property.
The data model behind GA4 is very different from Universal Analytics and you will not be able to view the old UA information in the new interface. Google recommends that you start using GA4 as soon as possible so that you have time to adjust to the updated model’s features.
If you would like to be able to compare historical information, it would be best if you have a full year of data overlap between GA4 and UA. Comparing the user, session, and conversion numbers from the two platforms will help you understand the real changes year-on-year.
As a certified Google analytics partner, we have the expertise to help you transition smoothly and make the most out of the new features and reports available in GA4.
We can also show you how to create custom reports which mimic the reports available on UA but are not yet in GA4. We will train you in order to demystify the transition, and to make sure that you are getting full value out of this new analytics platform.
We have in-field experience in integrating analytics with other internal systems such as CRM platforms, and various API’s. In addition to this, we’re adept at using Big Query (GCP) to extract information from analytics in order to with combine it with other marketing information.
